FEATURES:

• Protection against short-circuiting: Should a short-circuit occur, the DDP 612 immediately switches off the channel and then attempts to switch it on slowly. If the short-circuit persists for three times, DDP 612 switches the channel off definitely.
• Overload protection: The output is electronically limited to a maximum of 12 A per channel, no matter what load is applied
• Protection against incorrect connections: Through a fuse which blows to avoid overloading damaging to unit's internal circuity.
• Over-Heating protection: The maximum temperature allowed is 90ºC and is measured on the cooling fin. If this temperature is exceeded, the output is disabled until temperature return in the limits
• Forced ventilation: Use of the unit's fans does not in any way compromise the possibility of using the dimmer in locations in which noise has to be kept to a minimum (theaters), DDP 612 uses very low-noise fans which are silent even when operating; their rotation speed is also electronically controlled and directly proportional to the dimmer's internal temperature.
• Power supply: Thanks to his detailled planning, the power supply of the logical part of the DDP 612 is taken from all the three phases. If one of the three phases doesn't work, the channels will be powered with the others two phases.
