Goodbye to compact fluorescent tubes, bulbs and halogen capsules

From 2023 stop to the production of fluorescent lamps

Due to the amendment of the European directive EcoDesign 2009/125/CE of 2009 on dangerous substances in electronic equipment, during 2023 products such as neon tubes, compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) and halogen capsules will be phased out. What may seems like a limitation at first sight actually offers an interesting assist to LED lighting, which is becoming more and more popular as it is eco-friendly and low-consumption.

Which products will be phased out? When?
