Can I buy UHP and VIP lamps on Amlux?
Sometimes we get photos from new customers looking for these lamps for their headlights.
In reality these UHP and VIP lamps are lamps for VIDEO PROJECTORS and not for motorized headlights. The difference is substantial starting from the arc of light ignition to the color and position of the ceramic. Using this type of lamp causes breaks in the fixture and damages the igniter. For motorized headlights, Amlux always recommends the use of correct and original OSRAM SIRIUS, PHILIPS PLATINUM and YODN lamps.
